Volunteer Fire and EMS Department Welcomes Newest Member, Officers for 2012 Elected

Officials welcomed Anthony Viso to the department's ambulance auxiliary Tuesday night

The welcomed its newest member Tuesday night and announced the results of its election for 2012 officers.

Borough officials and fire chiefs welcomed new member Anthony Viso who joins the fire department’s ambulance auxiliary. Mayor Rose Heck said the borough is fortunate to have Viso who is a former police officer with the Paterson Police Department and is a certified EMT.

Richard Giarratana who currently serves as first assistant fire chief, will be the head fire chief for 2012. Pat Hayes, second assistant fire chief will now be the first assistant chief in the new year. Angelo Roccamo has been elected the second assistant chief.
