Police Arrest Man on Possession of CDS Charge

Borough resident was found with marijuana, police say

Police arrested a borough man for possession of CDS Wednesday morning.

Lt. Thomas Archer, head of the traffic bureau for the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department confirmed that Patrick French was charged with possession of CDS after police officers stopped him in the area of Terrace and Stanley avenues around 9:30 a.m.

Police ran a check on his license which turned out to be suspended, Archer confirmed. Officers found him with a marijuana joint which led to the CDS charge.

In other police business, officers responded to a domestic violence report on Ottawa Avenue Wednesday morning which resulted in an arrest on simple assualt charges.
