Police Investigate Early Morning Smash and Grab Burglary to Verizon Store

Police are looking for a white male, 5'7, who fled in a 4-door Lexus

UPDATE 10:30 a.m. – Police are still searching for the man responsible for a smash and grab burglary at the Route 17 Verizon World and Wireless store this morning.

Sgt. Kevin Corbliss said area police departments have also been given a description of the man, which was provided by someone at a nearby business who witnessed the burglary. Police are seeking a white male, about 5’7” wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans who drove away in a 4-door silver Lexus.

The owner of the shop has since been notified and the detective bureau is investigating the incident. There were no details provided as to what was taken.

The incident took place shortly after 7 a.m. this morning, police say, and the shop was closed at the time.
