Male Suspect Apprehended By Police, School Lockdown Lifted

Euclid School lockdown has been lifted

UPDATE 10:38 A.M. -  Preliminary reports from Hasbrouck Heights police say they have apprehended the male perpetrator they were in pursuit of since early this morning when the male allegedly fled a vehicle police say was stolen. 

A police department message stated that two individuals fled a vehicle that was involved in an accident on Terrace and Harrison avenues. Heights had the female perpetrator in custody since this morning. State police and other local departments, Bergen County K-9 unit were on the scene searching the area for a male which Wood-Ridge police had described as a black male, 5'6" wearing blue jeans and dark t-Shirt.

Euclid School was under lockdown this morning during the search. The lockdown has since been lifted. Residents had also been advised to stay in doors during the search.
