Two Patrolmen Sworn into Police Department

Two new probationary patrolmen were sworn into the borough's Police Department Tuesday night.

Surrounded by family members and fellow members, two new probationary patrolmen were officially sworn in Tuesday night.

Sean Woodbridge, who has been serving as the department's parking enforcement officer, will now move up to probationary patrolman and Brad Dussault, who was formerly an NJ Transit officer, joins the department, Police Chief Michael Colaneri explained.

The chief explained that the two patrolmen replace two ranking officers who had retired recently. The who was head of the traffic division, who retired this past February after 27 years.

Since his departure, the traffic division is now being controlled by two officers, Ian Robertson and Scott Adamo, who were already on the force.

The department is now once again at 29 members with the addition of Dussault. Woodridge has already been part of the roster as a parking enforcement officer before moving up to probationary patrolman.
