New Hearing Date for Route 17 Commercial Property Upgrades
Hasbrouck Heights Zoning Board will now hear plans from Three Buildings LLC on Route 17 South to upgrade the property and redesign the parking area on Nov. 15.
A commercial property owner on Route 17 South looking to upgrade the site with a new parking plan and other proposed changes will come back to the Hasbrouck Heights Zoning Board next month to begin its site plan hearing.
Testimony was set to be heard Thursday night, however due to the absence of some Zoning Board members the applicant took the opportunity to be heard by a full board next month. As Zoning Board Attorney Andrew Rotolo explained, in order to get approval for the variances requested five affirmative votes are needed.
The new date for the hearing is Thursday, Nov. 15.

Three Buildings LLC owns the property on Route 17 South that houses Kiddie World Furniture, Quest Fitness and Heights Beer and Wine Emporium.
The proposed plans include the renovation of the Kiddie World building and a new parking plan which will include new access roads from Route 17 South.

The rear portion of the commercial property borders the Hasbrouck Heights VFW on Veterans Place and a residential neighborhood.
