Lovey's Pizzeria and Restaurant Wins Patch 'Readers' Choice'

Lovey's wins 35 percent of the votes in Patch's first-ever Readers' Choice poll

The results of Patch’s are in and the winner is: , which had 35 percent of the vote and the most comments from readers.

Owner Corrine Siedel said Friday morning after the results came in that she is thankful to all her patrons for the support and “hopes to keep serving the community for years to come.”

The family-owned and operated pizzeria and restaurant has been a staple in Hasbrouck Heights since 1957 located on the Boulevard between Franklin and Hamilton avenue.

The family resides in town and is actively involved in the community. Each Tuesday, Lovey’s posts trivia questions on its Facebook page about Hasbrouck Heights offering up a free dozen zeppoles to the first to come up wi the right answer.

Lovey’s is always offering up specials including a heart-shaped pizzas at Valentine’s Day and even made a “G” shaped pie for the Super Bowl this year.

Coming in second place is , located in the strip mall on Route 17 south just off Williams Avenue, which took in 28 percent of votes from readers. Bensi is part of a chain of 24 restaurants in the state and Pennsylvania.

came in third with 22 percent of the vote. Located right across from Borough Hall, the pizzeria owned by Celestino Gencarelli opened just about two years ago. Heights Pizza has quickly become active in the community with the sponsorship of a baseball team. It has even been featured on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Next week, Patch will be looking for the Readers’ Choice in day care. Poll begins Monday at 9 a.m.
