"In order to culminate their lessons about the Civil War, Corpus Christi School's 8th grade Social Studies classes reenacted the Battle of Gettysburg. The 'Union' Soldiers defended Cemetery Ridge while the 'Confederate' soldiers battled from Seminary Ridge. The students built cannons, made cannon balls, Confederate flags, Union flags, and decorated the gym to resemble a battlefield under the direction of Mrs. Ciano."
