Student to faculty ratio

District schools once again are somewhat above the state average when it comes to the number of students per faculty member. The lowest numbers are once again at the high school which comes in just slightly under below the state average of 11.0 with 10.9. This is a reduction from the 2009-2010 school year where the student to faculty ratio was 11.3, above the 10.8 state average for that school year.

The middle school shows the largest student to faculty ratio of 16.2 well above the state average of 11. Compared with the previous school year the difference in ratio has grown as the school had a ratio of 13 compared with the then state average of 10.6

At the elementary school level, Lincoln School has a higher student to faculty ratio of 15, where Euclid has a 14.2. Both are above the state average of 11. Compared with last year’s figures the numbers are generally the same as Lincoln had a ratio of 15 and Euclid had 14.3 for the 2009-2010 school year.

Patch will continue to bring readers more information from the state released report cards, including 2010-2011 test scores. Stay tuned.
