Lincoln School Students Share Cultures

Fourth grade students came together in one big celebration of all their heritages.

Hasbrouck Heights' Lincoln School gym was host to one big international party Wednesday as the fourth grade class learned about the cultures of the world from each other.

Each student dressed on behalf of his or her heritage and brought in a food item to share with the rest of the class. Parents and teachers watched as each student took to the stage to share a fact or two about his or her heritage. Together they represented dozens upon dozens of countries around the world.

"While each student represnts his or her own heritage it's nice to see them all celebrating together," said Joseph Colangelo, principal.
