Coach Delcalzo Gets 200th Win

The long time coach of the Hasbrouck Heights High School football team celebrated his 200th win on Friday.

Friday night Coach Nick Delcalzo reached a major achievement in his coaching career.

The Aviator's win against North Arlington High School marked the 200th win for the veteran football coach.

A former Aviator himself, Delcalzo has been coaching the Hasbrouck Heights High School football team for the past 27 years. With this huge milestone under his belt, he tells NorthJersey.com he is now anxious for the next 100 wins.

Mike Scuilla, Hasbrouck Heights' athletic director tells Patch, "Coach Delcalzo has accomplished so much in his career.  His 200 victories is a testament to his endless devotion toward our football program and the Hasbrouck Heights community.

"I can’t think of many people who have more orange and black in them then Coach Nick Delcalzo.  This is a great achievement for both Nick and the community," said Scuilla.
