Last Chance to Register for Hasbrouck Heights Little League

The Hasbrouck Heights Little League's final in-person registration takes place Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Little League field house.

League officials say drafts start in early February, which makes time of the essence for kids interested in playing baseball this spring.

The news is of particular importance to 11- and 12-year-olds. These youngsters must be signed up before the drafts take place. Once the draft for the Majors is complete, no other players for this division can be added and make hose who missed it ineligible to play in 2014, according to a league notice.
