The Mickey’s Kids Foundation annual gala event is now just around the corner. The event will be held March 16 at Il Villaggio on Route 17 North in Carlstadt. Tickets cost $125 with proceeds benefitting Canine Assistants which raises service dogs for children with disabilities. The event begins at 7 p.m.

Last year Mickey’s Kids raised $32,000 for Canine Assistants allowing them to provide a dog for a New Jersey youngster with muscular dystrophy. Mickey’s Kids founders Tom and Michele Meli have previously said the goal this year is to raise enough funds to be able to provide two dogs for youngsters in need.
