Students and faculty will square off on the basketball court Thursday, May 3 at 7 p.m. in the new gym to raise money for the Relay. Amanda Kistner, co-chair of the Relay and high school teacher, says admission will be $3 to get into the game and people can take part in the half-court shot contest at halftime for a donation of $2. This weekend anyone can help take part in supporting the Relay for Life as a team will be set up in front of Borough Hall on Saturday to take donations, pass out information about the event, and sell illuminaria lanterns which can be personalized with a special message in honor someone who lost the battle or who is battling the disease.

Purple ribbons will also be for sale, proceeds benefiting the Relay for Life. Kistner and the Relay for Life team encourage all to hang some purple from homes or business fronts on Saturday to show their support for the Relay for Life.
