9/11 Memorial Vigil, Heights Mayor and Council Meet This Week

Coming up this week on Patch 

Hasbrouck Heights will host a 9-11 memorial vigil Wednesday night at the Firemen's Memorial/9-11 Memorial Park at 7 p.m. to remember, reflect and respect all those who were lost on that tragic day 12 years earlier. 

Speakers include Bergen County Police Department OEM retired Sgt. Barry Leventhal and Heights Police Chief Michael Colaneri. Look for more information and coverage this week. 

Also this week

  • A PSE&G representative is expected at the Tuesday mayor and council meeting to address the governing body and residents on recent concerns and issues they have experienced. 
  • Also at the meeting Tuesday night there will be several public hearings regarding capital improvement projects the borough is planning which includes upcoming road improvements and the purchase of a new street sweeper and police vehicle. 
  • Also this week it's back to school night at the high school Tuesday at 6 p.m. and at the middle school Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
