Children's Books Sought for Elementary Classroom Libraries

Parents of middle school and high school students can donate books their children may have outgrown to the district's elementary schools.

Both Euclid and Lincoln schools are asking parents of middle school and high school students to consider donating any books their children may have outgrown to the elementary schools. This book drive is being done to help enhance the classroom libraries at both elementary schools, explained Karen Dolan, Lincoln School reading specialist. The efforts go in the hand with the huge push for literacy in the district, says Dolan. Also it’s a green effort as it promotes recycling. Most times parents don’t know what to do with the books their children have outgrown and this creates an opportunity for the books to be repurposed, explained Dolan.  All children’s books are welcome, even picture books. They can be brought to either Euclid or Lincoln …
