Meeting set for the morning of June 6
Local business owners are invited to the Hasbrouck Heights Library this Thursday for a networking breakfast presented by the Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce. Breakfast will held from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. There is no charge to attend, but registration is required. To reserve your seat, call the Library at 201-288-0488 or visit the library website and go to calendar.

Chic Charity Club bring Heights businesses together in a first annual event that raises funds for the American Cancer Society.
The first annual Boulevard Restaurant Week is underway and is off to a good start. The Chic Charity Club put this event together working closely with dozens of business owners who quickly jumped on board to take part in this event raising funds and spreading awareness for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life while also helping to promote local small businesses. All this week until Saturday, May 11 select shops, restaurants and salons will donate a portion of their sales to the Chic Charity Club’s team which will walk at Relay for Life. Patrons may be asked to present a flyer (see attached PDF) or mention Boulevard Restaurant Week upon purchase. Hasbrouck Heights annual holiday parade and tree lighting ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23.
The Hasbrouck Heights community will kick-off the holiday season with its annual parade and tree lightning ceremony Friday night, a longstanding tradition in the borough. The holiday parade will once again be sponsored by the Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce. Local organizations, the Hasbrouck Heights High School Marching band and, of course, Santa Claus in his sleigh will parade up the Boulevard towards the traffic circle at Passaic Avenue where the tree lighting ceremony, sponsored by the Mayor's Celebrations Committee, will take place. Wednesday afternoon school kids and their Moms and Dads flocked to the Boulevard to paint the town for Halloween. The annual Halloween Window Painting Contest, sponsored by the Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce, is a long standing tradition in town. Children in grades 3, 4 and 5 at Euclid School, Lincoln School and Corpus Christi School take part in painting store front windows of participating businesses on the Boulevard. The Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce invites all local businesses to attend a networking breakfast event at the public library Friday, Oct. 12 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Bill Loges of ReferenceUSA is once more making a special guest appearance to demonstrate how one can cultivate the growth of one’s business. Seating is limited. There is no charge to attend, but registration is required.
