Heights Police Welcome Two as Probationary Patrolmen
Two probationary police patrolmen were sworn in during Tuesday's reorganization. The new members replace veterans officers who retired in 2012.
Two new probationary police patrolmen were officially sworn in Tuesday during the annual reorganization meeting. Michael DeSimone and Nicholas Brunetti will be the newest members of the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department once they complete their police training this year. Both DeSimone and Brunetti were joined by family members as they were sworn in by Mayor Rose Heck. The two now enter police training until the middle of June, after which they will begin their training in the department, according to Police Chief Michael Colaneri.
