Heights Community Celebrates its Super Bowl Champs
All the members of the Mighty Mites and Raiders were given certificates from the mayor and council Tuesday night.
Proud parents cheered as their young athletes names were called one by one to receive a certificate honoring them as a member of their championship Junior Football team. Hasbrouck Heights mayor and council honored all the members of the Junior Football Raiders and Mighty Mites who won the 2012 Meadowlands Super Bowl Championship. Raiders Head Coach Joe Fadden said completing the season 11-0 was a tremendous feat and he was very proud of all the hard work they did towards their accomplishment.
