Heights Rail Commuters Can Air Their Woes to NJ Transit Tuesday

A special forum on the topic of the Teterboro/Williams NJ Transit rail stop is set for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26

A special meeting has been arranged next Tuesday for those Heights rail commuters who say they have been fenced out by NJ Transit, no longer able to access the Teterboro/Williams stop by foot as a large fence has been put up on the Hasbrouck Heights side of the tracks. Mayor Rose Heck responded to the commuters' woes recently aired at a mayor and council meeting by inviting a representative from NJ Transit to meet with the commuters. The meeting is set for Tuesday, Feb 26 at 7:30 p.m. and will be only the topic of this rail stop, according to Heck. Heights resident Lino Brescia was among the first of the commuters to vocalize the issue by starting a petition against NJ Transit for putting up this fence. Brescia has said he formerly had an …
