Academic Aviators Appearing on MSG Varsity Challenge Show Thursday

Hasbrouck Heights High Schoolers will be featured on TV Thursday night. Members of the school's Academic Challenge Team face off against Waldwick High School on Cablevision MSG Varsity's "The Challenge" show which airs Thursday evening. The 2012-2013 season of "The Challenge" features 48 high schools from all over New Jersey, according to the MSG Varsity website. Hasbrouck Heights was selected among a handful of Bergen County high schools to compete on the show this year. Catherine Cassidy, assistant principal, says the students won this first round which they taped recently at Metropolis Studio in New York City and they will go back to compete in the next round in January.
