Food chains White Castle and Qdoba Mexican Grill offered Valentine's Day promotions

Qdoba Mexican Grill offered its BOGO (buy one get one) for a Kiss meal deal, granting couples who shared a kiss at the register a free entrée with the purchase of another. Some couples, including Jenn and Brian Casella of Carlstadt who came along with their son Joe to enjoy some Mexican food, only learned about the deal when they arrived. The couple was happy to share a kiss for the occasion. Christopher Schwartz and Virginia Green came from Hudson County to enjoy a meal at Qdoba and take part in the deal. Heights' White Castle participates in chain's Valentine's Day 'fine dining' makeover
What do you crave on Valentines Day? Flowers? Chocolates? Romance? Chez White Castle, of course. Yep, America's favorite home for tiny burgers is once again giving its sterile, ceramic tile motif a makeover for Cupid's favorite day, offering decorated tables, trinkets and a wait staff. Couples can even bring their own wine. (In keeping with the spirit, might we suggest re-labeling your Ernest and Julio Gallo as a 1978 Le Montrachet). A special menu will feature White Castle "surf and turf," a joining of the famous burger and a fish sandwich. “It is the one time of year we attempt to wait on tables,” said Chris Shaffery, NJ regional director of White Castle.
