Summer Reading Fun, Park Updates Coming Up This Week

Coming up this week on Patch

Summer reading fun begins this week as book clubs and other activities begin at the Hasbrouck Heights Public Library.

The program consists of drop-in story times for the little ones ages 2 1/2 to 6 starting Tuesday, July 9 from 1:30 to 2 p.m.

For teens there are two book clubs, one for students going into grades 7, 8 and 9 which begins Wednesday, July 10 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and another for the older students going into grades 10, 11 and 12 which begins Tuesday, July 9 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Look for a feature on the upcoming Summer Bash at the library all set for Friday, Aug. 2.

The mayor and council will hold its first meeting of the month Tuesday, July 9 at 8 p.m. Updates ongoing projects like theWoodland Park pavilion are likely to be on the work session agenda.   

The Farmer’s Market returns each week to the Central Avenue Parking lot on Tuesdays from 12 to 6 p.m.
